About Us

Evans Taxpayers United

Evans Taxpayers United [ETU] is an incorporated, non-profit taxpayer watchdog group that by charter assists in citizen property assessments and advises residents of governmental activities.

Our history

ETU was formed in 2007 and incorporated in 2009.

Our mission, according to our charter, is to assist Evans taxpayers in property tax assessments and to advise the public on government activities.

Ernie Waddell and Cheryl St. George-Calleri are its co-chairs.

Our mission

Our volunteer group seeks to monitor the spending policies of the town board, with a goal of a more open, transparent & responsive government.

We seek fair and affordable tax rates and cost cutting budgets that ease the burden on all Evans taxpayers
